Clergyman, Indian rights activist. Little is known of Rev. Davis other than that he was an officer in the Indian Rights Association and lived in Newton, Massachusetts. As an official of the Indian Rights Association, Rev. Joshua Davis traveled widely throughout the West visiting various Indian reservations, missions, and schools.
